I fully believe that beauty has the ability to strengthen us. I think in God’s kindness every day begins and ends with moments of breathtaking beauty. Sunsets and sunrises meet us at the days most vulnerable times…when we meet the uncertainty of a new day, or when it’s time to release the day and trust in His care as we slip into rest.
This painting represents the beautiful moments God has given me on my Pilgrim journey. My life thus far has been filled with distress He has sovereignty allowed but even more so filled with His grace and redemption. The strength He has give me has been perfectly measured to keep my steps steady as I journey to the Celestial city.

This painting is inspired by the beautiful moments that meet us along the way. I’m a stay at home mama so I don’t get out to big adventures that often, but I have seen breathtaking beauty in my everyday routine and tried to capture that in this piece :)

This is a painting I made for my mother-in-law. She and my father-in-law have lived in Colorado for over 25 years and remain a harbor for their family and many dear friends over the years. I’m so blessed to call them Mom and Dad.

Sometimes I find myself in a wistful state. Dusk is beginning; the world is quieting. Light and sounds start their descent. I find myself in a moment of surreal. Life is so precious, so fleeting, so full, and so beautiful. I relish finding myself in such a state. However, it is not a good state for one to dwell in, for we still must put the hand to the plow. But when the moments of pondering come, I richly enjoy them.

Life can be fraught with difficulty and sadness that we don’t yet understand. There came a point in my adult life where I deeply struggled with why God allows evil in the world. My husband said these wise words to me:
“If you never experienced darkness where you desperately needed God to be faithful, good, and powerful, then you’ll never experience how truly faithful, good, and powerful He really is.”
The dark God has allowed in my life has made the light so much sweeter. The joyful valleys seem that much brighter and cheerful for the struggles that I pushed through to get there.

“Community”
She came over to my house with a huge canvas and a tiny reference photo. We spent the next several hours flying by the seat of our pants with mixing colors, creating the layers, and painting with palette knives in poor lightning in my living room. We were so amazed when we saw it in the light of day - it turned out so beautifully!
This paintings represents community to me. No one was meant to be alone. It reminds me that we are truly better when we live in a community of friends and family that strengthens each other

Oh Hey There! I’m Hannah.
I am a multi-creative artist based in the Denver Metro Area. In my work you will find nature inspired art in mediums from oil palette knife paintings to embroidery art. My paintings are done almost exclusively with just a palette knife and each have rich texture and vibrant pastels. My embroidery is characterized by full texture and often calligraphy to inspire daily prayers.
I am deeply inspired by nature, but even more by the Creator who designed it for our wonder and His Glory. I hope my art is an avenue for you to experience His love, care, tenderness, and healing. Each painting is accompanied by a story. You may be surprised at which ones you are drawn to!
